We are in Doddington in the scenic North Kent Downs within the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Doddington offers a quiet retreat yet allows easy access to motorways and rail links to London, Canterbury, Maidstone and the Medway towns.

At Down Court Cottage B&B we are close to Kent's visitor attractions - Canterbury Cathedral, Leeds Castle, and convenient for the channel crossing.
 
We are ideally situated for visiting the area for weekend breaks, recreational and or business purposes. Kent hosts some of the UK's most important wildlife reserves, and our location is ideal for walkers and ramblers.
 
We are a wheelchair and dog friendly B&B.
 
Accommodation
Room 1
Ground floor room with Double Bed and en suite wet-room.
The room is big enough for an additional single bed if required.
 
Room 2
First floor room with Double Bed and en suite.
 
Both rooms have:
- WiFi - TV - DVD [we have a small library of DVDs and paperbacks]
- Hairdryer, facilities for ironing and shoe cleaning 
- Generous selection of beverages and snacks
- Comfortable arm chairs
- Ample storage & hanging space
  
  All garden and patio areas are available for guest use.

Payment
To secure your booking we require a 25% deposit. If booking for one night or booking less than 7 days prior to your stay we require full settlement at time of booking.
 
Deposits are non refunbable and there is a cancellation charge of 25% of the room rate to cover costs and missed bookings.
 
Breakfast 
Breakfast is served :
7:00 - 9:00    Monday - Friday
8:30 - 10:00  Saturday, Sunday, Bank Holidays
 
We use quality ingredients that are locally sourced where possible including free range eggs from our local Farm.
Breakfast menu choice may vary depending on availability and a vegetarian choice is available. Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
 
Disabled Access and wheelchair friendly
Our ground floor room provides easy access for elderly and disabled guests. All areas available to guests are on one level with extra wide doors. The room has a double bed but can also accommodate a separate single bed for use of a carer if required.
The ensuite wet-room has a non-slip floor, grab rails and fixtures, a shower stool and adjustable toilet frame.
 
Business
We have a desktop with broadband connectivity and a wifi system for Laptop use. A colour printer, scanner, photocopier and fax machine are also available.
If required we can provide meeting room facilities to accommodate up to eight people. The room has whiteboard, flip chart, PC projection and DVD system.

Dog Friendly
We are more than happy to accept dogs and pets at Down Court. We are surrounded by many wooded areas with walks and bridal ways, and coastal paths such as the Saxon Shore Way. The famous Pilgrim's Way is only a few miles away - ideal for dog walking.
Kent and the south east of England boasts many nature and bird reserves, as well as dozen's of interesting sites managed by English Nature and the Kent Wildlife Trust and we are within Kent's Area of Outstanding Beauty (AONB)
Whatever your interests you will be at the centre of it all !
 
Your dogs will love the many footpaths and bridalways, wooded areas and wide open countryside.
Within a few miles we have a wide range of habitats from marsh lands to oak woods, from down lands to river esturys - if you are into wildlife you won't be disapointed!
Many of the local pubs are dog friendly.
