Dover Transport Museum

Introduction

The Dover Transport Museum was formed in 1980. There have been three other museum sites but now a site bought with lottery funds and funds given by many big-hearted local businesses and people has given us a permanent home where the past, present and future are together.

We have road vehicles of all types from bicycles to buses. There is a model railway and tramway; local transport history; hundreds of models; Kent Coalfield items; Maritime Room; Bygone shops and 1930s garage. See the exhibits being worked on. Tearoom room open Sundays.
