We are a 4 star guest house located in one acre of beautiful gardens. The attractive setting and solar heated swimming pool can provide hours of relaxation and amusement for all ages.
Guests are welcome to relax by the pool in our garden with a traditional Kentish cream tea prepared by the proprietress Sue, a fully qualified chef who caters for all tastes and dietary requirements. A full restaurant service is available for residents and non-residents alike. Our beautiful restaurant provides a happy, informal family atmosphere for all your meals. Evening meals are also served with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.
We are the only guest house in the area that can guarantee private parking for cars and secure storage for bicycles and motorcycles. Wireless internet available for £5 per day with your own Lap Top.
Located on the doorstep of Europe, only 15 minutes from the Channel Tunnel and 8 miles from the Dover Cruise Terminal & Cross Channel Ferries, Garden Lodge is perfectly situated for guests wanting to cross the Channel. Motorcyclists and contractors are always welcome at the Garden Lodge.
For those exploring the area, we are just 3 miles from the seafront town of Folkestone and the Battle Of Britain museum and 12 miles from the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury.

Garden Lodge features very comfortable accommodation. Tastefully decorated single, double, twin and family rooms are available. All rooms have TV, DVD players, alarm clock radios, central heating, electric shaver points, hairdryers, hair straighteners, toiletries, complimentary hospitality tray, electric trouser press and bathrobes. Our family, double and twin rooms also have refrigerators.
All our rooms are equipped with en suite shower facilities for our guest's convenience.
We also offer a room with a beautiful draped four poster bed. For guests with children we can provide a cot and highchair. Children of all ages are catered for and families with well behaved children are welcome.
We offer a washing service for all our guests and those travelling on business will be pleased to know we also have fax facilities. We also have a computer in our hall for checking local information. Garden Lodge Guest House has also been awarded a full fire certificate.

We have a ground floor room with a beautiful draped four poster bed. It has an en suite shower room with WC and wash basin.
Double/Triple/Family En suite
This large family room is located on the first floor and includes a double bed, walk-in double shower, WC and wash basin. There are also two bunk beds in the room, making it perfect for families with children.
Twin En suite
Our twin room has two single beds, en suite shower room, WC and wash basin.
Single En suite - Ground Floor
The ground floor room is adapted for guests with accessibility requirements. Both our single rooms have an en suite shower room.

Facilities
During the summer months feel free to relax by the pool in our garden with a traditional Kentish cream tea prepared by Sue, a fully qualified chef. Evening meals are also served with fresh fruit and vegetables from the garden.
The small patio and ornamental fish pond are quiet places to relax or you can take a stroll around the flowers. With all these features there is still plenty of space for campers to pitch their own tents, as we have outdoor toilet and shower facilities.
The aviaries house a variety of beautiful birds and we also have two friendly Shih Tzus, Jasper and Mischief.
The Garden Lodge has guaranteed private parking and secure storage for bicycles and motorcycles. Motorcyclists and contractors always welcome at the Garden Lodge. Wireless internet available for £5 per day with your own laptop PC.
Our solar heated swimming pool is available during summer months. We also have ground floor rooms.
Guests are invited to relax in our beautiful conservatory overlooking the garden and pool.
Restaurant
Full restaurant service is available at Garden Lodge. Open to residents and non-residents, our beautiful restaurant provides a happy, informal family atmosphere for all your meals. The proprietress is a Member of the Cookery and Food Association and the Craft Guild of Chefs.
Dinner served between 18.00 - 19.30 and tables must be reserved. Dishes feature fresh vegetables and fruit grown in Garden Lodge's own garden as well as meats and fish bought fresh from local suppliers. Cakes, pastries, chutneys and preserves are all homemade. We are not licensed, but guests are welcome to bring their own wine to accompany their meals and we will be happy to serve it to them in the restaurant, at no extra charge.
Full English breakfast is served from 07:15 to 08:45 and for early risers cold breakfasts can be ordered. For our guests on the go, packed lunches are available if ordered at the time of initial booking.
Policies
Check In/Out:
Check-In time: 17.00 hrs until 23.00 hrs. We cannot accept check-ins after this time as we do not operate a 24 hour reception desk.
Check-Out time: 10:00
Family Rooms:
Please note that child pricing is for children of 10 years or younger. For persons staying as children that are older than 10, a supplement will be payable on arrival.

Wireless internet is available for £5 per day using your own laptop PC.

Unfortunately we do not allow pets.
Smoking:
Garden Lodge is a completely non-smoking property.
Deposit and Cancellation Policy
Non-returnable deposit of 50% will be taken upon confirmation of booking. Full amount will be debited to your Credit / Debit card if you fail to honour this booking unless 14 days notice is received. An administration fee of 1.45% will be charged on all Credit card payments.
