Details: Bedgebury is a leading BHS approved equestrian centre providing riding tuition to several hundred riders a week. In addition to riding tuition, it offers livery facilities to the public, an annual competition schedule and career training up to Assistant Instructor level.

Bedgebury has extensive facilities and a team of dedicated qualified staff who work to provide a quality service, putting the safety of its riders and the welfare of its horses at the top of its list of priorities.

Holiday Courses
The Riding Centre offers holiday courses throughout the year. These can be for a long weekend, mid-week break or as long as required and the content of each holiday is tailored to meet individual requirements.

Lessons are available for riders of all standards whether they wish to compete seriously or just enjoy the superb riding in Bedgebury Forest. Holiday courses consist of three rides and one lecture per day. Swimming and tennis are available at no extra cost during the school holiday period. English lessons can be arranged for an extra charge. We can also arrange transport to and from airports/railway stations.

Accommodation
Children are placed with carefully selected host families and are transported to and from the centre and provided with a packed lunch. Where possible, children are accommodated with a family who have children of a similar age. Adults usually prefer to arrange their own accommodation but we can provide a list of hotels, guest houses or bed and breakfast.

The riding centre is situated within 250 acres of parkland which provides grazing, a cross country course and direct access to thousands of acres of forest riding.

The horses...with 60 horses we cater for all abilities from safe, steady first mounts to experienced schoolmasters in dressage, showjumping and cross country.

The centre offers tuition at all levels from novice to advanced in dressage, showjumping, cross country - all with qualified instructors.

Unaccompanied young people are responsible for their allotted horse or pony
and tack to enable them to improve their stable management skills as well as riding. They will, however, be given the chance to ride several horses/ponies to broaden their experience. The last afternoon each week is set aside for a competition when skills learnt during the week can be put into practice.
