Details: Whether you're an absolute beginner or a qualified pilot, you'll find the world of microlight flying a unique and stimulating experience. Flying out of Barham, near Canterbury, in a two seater Cyclone AX3 or the Ikarus C42 Microlight, I offer a variety of options for you to try.

Never flown?
Want to find out what flying is really like?
Is it boring? Do I need a licence? Do I need a degree?
The answer is probably NO!

Is it different? Is it fun? Can it be scary? Does it give a different view on the world? Can anybody try it? Will I bore my friends and relations when I tell them about my first flight? Is it cheaper than other types of flying?
The answer is probably YES!

How much does it cost?
‘Air Experience’ Vouchers
£65 for 30 minutes
£95 for 45 minutes
£115 for 60 minutes

Private Pilot's Licence Training £85/95* per hour
* reduction for block hours pre-payment

Or never flown microlights?
Perhaps you have a PPL(A) and are wondering about converting to microlights? Why not try ..from the Sublime to the Ikarus? The sublime microlight is the Cyclone AX3. A basic microlight [no heater] with a Rotax 503 engine giving a cruise of 45kts. It will give you a very good introduction to the low inertia world of microlights. You will have to use the rudder too. Or try the NEW THIS WINTER - THE IKARUS C42 - A TOP OF THE RANGE 4 stroke MICROLIGHT. It looks like a light aircraft; flies as fast as a light aircraft EXCEPT it has the low inertia and fun of a microlight. If you are into a more comfort and whizzy aircraft, this should be for you.

As a PPL(A) holder myself I appreciate the differences. In the end the best thing to do is come and have a go.

Want a Private Pilot's Licence?
The Minimum requirement for a microlight licence is 25 hours of which ten hours must be solo. Five multi-choice type ground exams and a flying test need to be passed. The emphasis of the course I run is on skill and safety to make you a competent pilot.
