The monthly Sunday Farmers' Market is held on the second of every month, from 10am to 2pm, outside in green car park.

Hempstead Valley offers shoppers over 2,000 FREE parking spaces with a choice of covered or surface parking. Our parking areas have a bright, user-friendly atmosphere with plenty of parent & child bays, disabled parking bays as well as bicycle and motorcycle bays. Hempstead Valley has been awarded the Park Mark Safer Parking Award and all of our car parks are monitored round the clock by CCTV for your safety.

Wheelchairs may be hired free of charge from the Centre Management Office. Please telephone 01634 387 076 to make a booking or to obtain further details.
RADAR keys can also be purchased here for access to toilet facilities.
We welcome shoppers guided by Assistance Dogs and all of Hempstead Valley’s stores are accessible over one level. Lifts to the multi-storey car parks are fitted with brail and plenty of disabled car parking bays are located close to the centre’s entrances.

Getting here
By car
Hempstead Valley is easily accessible by car just off M2, Jct 4.
Rainham – 10 minutes
St Mary’s Island – 15 minutes
Rochester High Street / Maidstone – 20 minutes
By train
Trains run regularly to Gillingham and Rainham and Hempstead Valley is roughly 10 minutes by taxi from each station.
