Details: A modern fully equipped equestrian centre, approved by the BHS, ABRS and The London Borough of Bexley. We are a family run business and have been operating successfully for 40 years. With the acquisition of the adjacent Taylor’s Yard in 2004, we pride ourselves in being the largest riding centre within the M25.

We offer a wide range of equine services to an excellent standard to include: Livery, Instruction, Stable Management, Hacking, Breaking and Schooling. Courses can be tailored to suit individual needs and are very popular with schools and groups.

We offer an appreciation of the local countryside, with complimentary walks through the adjoining Joyden’s Wood, which is owned by the Woodland Trust, on whose behalf we operate the Horse Riding Permit Scheme.

Anyone can enjoy horse riding, be it young, old, able or disabled. It’s a rewarding way of improving personal fitness and spending your leisure time.

GROUP LESSONS
Groups consist of 8 persons on average. We cater for beginners, intermediate and advanced riders.
All group lessons are structured to the British Horse Society's Progressive Riding Tests and each run for approximately 55 minutes including mounting and dismounting.

PRIVATE LESSONS
A one-to-one lesson with your choice from our instructors and horses. (approx 55 minutes)

SEMI-PRIVATE LESSONS
A maximum of 4 similar ability clients with your choice from our instructors and horses (approx 55 minutes)
Child £20 Adult £24

Sessions
Rides and lessons start on the hour from:
09:00 - 20:00 Mon - Thur
09:00 - 17:00 Fri
09:00 - 16:00 Sat and Sun

Privates rides and lessons can be booked for any day, group rides are only available at weekends and are graded according to ability.

Our philosophy
At Mount Mascal we like to think that we make riding an accessible sport for people of all ages and abilities.

While we take pride in our excellent facilities that we are able to offer experienced riders and horse owners, we welcome everyone from very small children to the more mature novice rider. We do not see age, weight or physical ability as obstacles, and encourage everyone to "have a go".
We can offer private and group tuition. Our private lesson offers one to one tuition, with your instructor just concentrating on you and our group lessons comprise of other riders of a similar ability, maximum of 8 people in one group.

Please note that before you ride with us you are required to complete a client details form. This is not a requirement every time you ride with us, although we do recommend that you give us an updated version after you have progressed with your riding.
