Details: Situated in the heart of the Kent countryside, the Oad Street Centre offers a pleasant relaxed environment for shopping, eating and a nice day out.

Our gift shop has an excellent range of unusual gifts and presents including glassware, ceramics and jewellery and our flower area has an extensive range of silk and dried flowers and floral arrangements which are designed and made by our resident florists.

Whilst at the centre you may wish to visit our tearoom. As well as serving morning coffees and afternoon teas, we also offer a full all day menu, which has a variety of freshly prepared meals and light lunches, including sandwiches baguettes, light bites, salads and main meals. We also have a specials menu changing daily. The tearoom prides itself on its home cooked food and has a wide selection of home baked cakes, scones and biscuits.

The artHouse Gallery offers visitors a fusion of commercial art and original hand-made pieces. The gallery has managed to obtain a variety of unusual collections which have been gathered from all over Europe and America. artHouse is also the permanent home of the 'Artists' Quarter', which acts as a showcase for new and established artists. Every two months the Quarter exhibits new pieces including paintings, sculptures, ceramics, photography and mosaics and other pieces of fine art.

Oad Street Craft Centre is also the home to a selection of workshops including:
-Handmade Porcelain Figures
-Furniture Restoration
-Porcelain Ceramics
