Details: Dining at Skippers of Bridge, Canterbury is a totally unique experience - unique in its format, unique in its ambience and unique in its service. Your table is reserved for the whole evening so you can relax and take your time over a memorable dinner.

Our chefs use the finest fresh ingredients, locally sourced, to produce a sumptuous dinner for you to enjoy in leisurely surroundings. Skilled hands and carefully chosen ingredients combine to create traditional dishes with a modern twist, served to you by friendly, proficient staff. Our wine list offers a wide selection from around the world to complement the tastes and flavours of the food.

We are renowned for excellent service, warm hospitality and friendly staff. The ambience at Skippers is relaxed and welcoming, and there's no rush to finish. We have only one sitting in the evenings from Tuesday to Saturday each week at 7.45 for 8pm, and we close at 11pm. Your table is reserved for the whole evening, so you can enjoy coffee and liqueurs at your leisure. Sunday lunch is at 12.45 for 1pm.

Our main dining room seats up to 60, and we have three other separate dining areas, which can seat groups from 12 to 18 and from 24 to 26. Individual dining areas can be reserved for special functions, and the restaurant is available for private use on Monday evenings. The M2 & A2 provide fast access by road from a wide area.

This is the ideal place to dine, whatever the occasion. Whether seeking an intimate table for two, a great night out with a group of friends or colleagues, or to impress business contacts, Skippers will not disappoint you. In fact, everything you expect from a leading restaurant with a reputation stretching back twenty years.

If you are looking for somewhere special to entertain your family or friends, business associates or staff, Skippers Restaurant offers you a particularly unique and thoroughly enjoyable evening of wining and dining.

Our cuisine is superb, the servings generous, and with a set price four course menu, the only extras are drinks. Your meal starts with a selection from the hors d'oeuvres table, followed by homemade soup. Then choose a main course from the tempting dishes presented at your table by the chef. Puddings include our memorable chocolate cabbage (when in season!) and our famous bread and butter pudding, with second helpings often available. Our versatile wine list caters for most tastes and offers excellent value.

Our Rooms
Why not stay overnight for a special occasion, or for a short break?
We have two stylish double-bedded rooms with en suite shower facilities. The rate is £75 per room per night and includes a full English breakfast. If you choose to stay, the area has much to offer. Bridge is a charming village on the old coach road from London to Dover, set in beautiful countryside with many local walks and places of interest. It is only three miles from the centre of historic Canterbury with its cathedral, visitor attractions and excellent shopping facilities. The Channel Tunnel and ferry services from Dover to the continent are a short drive away.
